Internet Paging
Alphanumeric paging in manual, burst or automatic modes. The AMBPAC solution provides multiple methods of paging and automatic rollover if one method fails.
Integrated Mapping
User controlled mapping that allows individuals to adjust their mapping display and function to suit general and specific needs. SmartCAD's mapping is fully scalable down to the actual street corner and then back out to a full county-wide view if necessary. Centerline data recognizes which side of the street a call falls on, giving you ultra accurate district compliance reporting.
AVL/GPS
AMBPAC was the first CAD vendor to integrate AVL/GPS using Trimble Navigation. AVL/GPS is an option for SmartCAD and integrates seamlessly giving the user features such as mobile data terminals, voiceless dispatching, vehicle location with unparalleled accuracy, vehicle transaction logs and e-mails from dispatch to vehicle.
Taking full advantage of the AVL integration, you can maximize the production of your dispatch staff through the use of voiceless dispatching. What used to take three dispatchers to do can now be done by one, a feature that quickly pays for itself. Reduce the risks associated with poor communication or busy radio traffic.
Voiceless dispatch ensures communi- cation regardless of your radio signal quality or traffic. Built in panic buttons ensure that your crews always have someone looking out for them. They have the peace of mind of knowing that help is a button press away.
Dispatchers using AVL/GPS have a Heads Up Display (HUD) where they see vehicle movements in real time. Calls are plotted on the HUD for instant recognition of the closest unit. The CAD's unit status screen also becomes a real time resource, constantly updating with the actual address the unit is at. Retrospective reporting becomes even more useful because you can see exactly where your unit was at the requested time, making optimizing of your system even more precise.
